The choice you make at the chicken counter is bigger than you might think. It's a choice of values.

We are very pleased that consumers care about animal welfare and the environment, and we see that the value-based choices we make are important for everyone who buys chicken.

Chicken is healthy

Norsk Kylling is part of the Directorate of Health's agreement for a healthier diet. We collaborate with health authorities and the rest of the food industry to make it easier for consumers to make healthy choices.

In the Directorate of Health's dietary guidelines from 2024, it states: White meat is nutrient-dense and contributes protein, B vitamins, selenium, and other essential nutrients to the diet.

110 million dinners

We offer a complete range of fresh, grilled, processed, ready-to-serve, and frozen chicken products. Our products are available nationwide in stores, restaurants, and hotels. Our goal is to increase the share of slow-growing chicken in the market.

Free from allergens

All products are free from allergens, except for cheese (milk protein) in cheese sausages. This makes our products more accessible for people with food intolerances and allergies, and helps make it easier for more people to choose safe alternatives in their daily lives.

Without unnecessary additives

At Norsk Kylling, we strive to reduce the use of additives that could have a negative impact on health. Our products are free from:

  • Carrageenan (E407)

  • Mono and diglycerides of fatty acids (E471)

Raw cuts (chilled and fresh products) are also free from added water.
